May 2011: David Stringer back at Leeds Rugby
At the end of April, David attended the Leeds Tykes Reunion Dinner which was arranged by former player Dan Hyde. Former members of the Leeds 2001 squad (which first gained promotion to the Premiership) and the Leeds 2005 Squad (which won the Powergen Cup Final at Twickenham) were invited to attend the day and catch up over dinner, a few pints and the Leeds verses Harlequins match.
David worked with the Leeds 2005 Powergen Cup team and said "It was one of the most incredible sporting experiences of my life, we were certainly considered underdogs compared to our opponents Bath and it bonded the team together not only for the remainder of that season, but for life. We had a fantastic day at the reunion and it great to see some of the former players, which included world cup winner Mark Regan and club legend Mike Shelley."
