Mar 2010: David Stringer talks to BBC Radio Leeds
On Monday 15th March David Stringer was asked to appear on the BBC Radio Leeds' Breakfast show with Andrew and Georgey. David was questioned on David Beckham's Achilles injury, and the likelihood of his recovery in time for the World Cup in South Africa.
“Unfortunately should the Achilles tendon rupture be confirmed on an ultrasound scan, Beckham will require surgery which is likely to rule him out for approximately six months and this would include the World Cup. I know that he has worked very hard to be available for the competition and this will be a bitter disappointment for him,
” stated David.
David is a regular contributor to the show on sporting injuries following his background within elite sport.
