Jan 2010: David Stringer; continuing professional development with England Rugby.
On Friday 15 January, David attended the England RFU Medical team meeting at Twickenham Stadium.
The day focused on injuries to the Achilles tendon and ankle joint and was led by Mr James Calder (Consultant foot and ankle surgeon to the England Rugby team) and Dr Jerry Healy (Consultant Radiologist to the England Rugby team).
Following the teaching session, David met with the Elite Department Medics to hear firsthand the impact of the latest data into injuries in professional rugby union, which was released to the press the following week.
